Gift Ideas for Toddlers and Preschoolers

How was your Thanksgiving? I hope that you had a blessed day surrounded by those that you love. My brain immediately jumps from Thanksgiving to Christmas thanks to all of the time spent with family and the advertisements for sales.

Have you started your Christmas shopping? I have been buying things throughout the year as I have seen sales, but I may have hidden everything too well. I cannot find the items that I purchased over the last few months! We’re currently enjoying a Florida vacation, but I really hope that I can find them when we return home.

I wanted to share some of the items that I purchased, already have, and plan to purchase. These are for toddlers and preschoolers. I split them into two lists, but many of the items have a wide age range! Also, there are some great sales happening right now. Most of these items are not electronic, but I made some exceptions. If I could not find an exact item, I made sure to link something similar.

1. Ride-On Car – This was a joint gift from family for both girls. It is pricey. My favorite things about this specific one are the Bluetooth connection for music and the remote that allows adults to control the car.

2. Scooter – This has a break in the back to help with stopping. Don’t forget a helmet and pads!

3. Stomp Rocket – This specific one has two stompers for fewer arguments if you have more than one kid.

4. Pattern Blocks – You can do so much with these. They are also great for sorting activities.

5. Farm Floor Puzzle

6. Construction Floor Puzzle – We love puzzles in my house. Floor puzzles are a great option and the pieces are harder to lose.

7. Squirrel Game – I could list one hundred games, but this is a great one for fine motor skills.

8. Zingo Bingo – We also have the math version.

9. Toniebox Audio – I went back and forth on purchasing this because I can play similar songs and stories through Spotify. I like that the girls can use this without me, though, and it’s just one less thing that I have to do.

10. Dollhouse – Some dollhouses creep me out, but there is nothing scary about this one. Haha! Don’t forget the dolls

11. Wooden City – The blocks and cars are tiny, so this stays out of reach of Emi (2 years old), but it’s great for older kids.

12. Cash Register – I appreciate that this does not make a lot of noise and has a scanner.

13. Marble Run – We will actually be buying another set for this because it’s so much fun and we want to build bigger structures.

14. Travel Train – This comes in a few different themes. Ours has been to many places with us!

1. Balance Bike – Full transparency, Elani did not like it. Emi loves it, though. Don’t forget a helmet!

2. Scooter – Radio Flyer is one of my favorite brands and both girls love this scooter.

3. Tunnel – This is big if you use all of the pieces, but you don’t have to and that’s why I love it. Don’t forget the balls! You’ll want 400 or more and they clean up easily.

4. Slide – We use this with our kiddie pool with water or balls. We also use the slide with these mats as an obstacle course. It is excellent on its own, as well.

5. Kid Coaster – Emi loved riding this at a local play place. It is easy for little ones to even use it on their own!

6. Alphabet Puzzle – The letters shaped like animals help with the letter-sound association.

7. Transportation Puzzle Book

8. Jungle Puzzle Book – The puzzle pieces fit onto different pages of the book for extra fun!

9. Bowling – Great for hand-eye coordination.

10. First Orchard – I also use the game pieces for sorting and counting activities.

11. Building Site – The great thing about these games is the cooperative play element. Perfect for learning how to play a game.

12. Rocket – Even Elani loves this! It blows air up so that the ball float up to the top.

13. Play Kitchen – If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen this kitchen decorated for many different holidays. It’s fun for the whole family. These are some of my favorite foods and dish sets.

14. Baby Doll Stroller – We have used this inside and outside for years and it has held up so well.

15. Baby Doll – This doll is the perfect size for toddlers. I did a lot of research before being this because most dolls creep me out. Haha!

16. Jumbo Blocks – We used these in my preschool classroom and they were a hit!

17. Wood Track – These are pricey, but the quality is amazing and the pieces aren’t too small.

I hope that these lists help you to find something special for a little one in your life. I also always recommend books. There are so many great ones to choose from on all different topics. If you have any gift ideas, make sure to share them in the comments for others to see!
