With Christmas coming up, we have been having so much fun getting into the holiday spirit. We went to the zoo to see their holiday lights for the first time. It was fun, but it was definitely cold. I’m glad that we have some fun indoor activities to do, as well. There are already many Christmas and winter printables on the blog, but here are a few more. Once Christmas is over, make sure to check out the New Year printables!
There are a few different I Spy printables on my blog because I tend to make things based on my children’s interests. If your child enjoys I Spy, as well, this Christmas version is for them. It also allows your little one to practice their cut-and-paste skills!
These cute ornaments are a great independent activity for matching. Simply cut the cards out and you’re ready to go. Another way to use this activity is to lay out one set of cards face up and use the other set as a draw pile. Draw a card and see who can find the match, first. If you are looking for more movement, hide one set of cards throughout a room for a scavenger hunt. Use the other set as a draw pile so that your child knows which card to search for. Once they find the hidden card, they can pull another card from the pile and start another search.
This I Spy does not involve cutting or pasting. It’s a great independent activity for older children, but also a great activity for little ones, with guidance. If you are looking for something fun to do that is not Christmas-themed, this is for you!
Make sure that you are subscribed to my blog to access all of these educational printables and more. I hope that you and your family enjoy these fun printables as much as we have!
